Motta Advisors

Philosophy

Preserve first. Always.

The wealth that reaches us took a lifetime to build. Our first concern must be to preserve it, and to see it passed on to those you choose.

01

Independence

Why independence changes everything.

Motta Advisors is a registered investment adviser (RIA) in the United States, bound by a fiduciary duty: the legal obligation to act in your best interest.

We are paid a transparent management fee on assets under management (AUM), agreed with each client. We never receive commissions on the products selected for our clients.

What that changes in practice

A bank sells the bank's shelf. A commissioned broker earns when you trade. An RIA answers to your interest by legal obligation, not by commercial choice: its interest is aligned with the client's, to protect and grow the wealth.

Where our revenue comes from

The compensation is the management fee agreed between the parties, on assets under management: when the wealth grows, the fee grows with it; when it falls, the fee falls too. We have no products of our own, receive nothing from third parties, and earn nothing you don't see itemized on your statement. It is the only alignment we accept.

We don't sell outsized returns. We sell conscious allocation.

02

The firm

We serve each family directly through a partner.

No service desk. No relationship manager. No account rotation.

A partner designs your structure and answers your message, in Portuguese or English.

Custody of your assets sits at one of the largest American brokers, Interactive Brokers, in your name; only you can withdraw the invested capital.

We document the method before the conversation. How we choose each position

Registration verifiable with the SEC: Motta Advisors LLC, Rodrigo Motta Mendes, responsible partner. IAPD, Investment Adviser Public Disclosure

03

The word that defines us

Why Preservation.

Returns are a photograph; preservation is a film.

Any portfolio has a good quarter. Very few cross forty years, two generations and three crises.

So we measure success differently: is the wealth in a strong currency? Does the structure withstand rule changes? Is succession designed? Does the family sleep well?

When those answers are yes, compounding does the rest.

The goal was never the year's highest return. It is the right wealth, in the right currency, with the right structure, for as long as your family needs it.

Start with the conversation, not the contract.
